Les Amis de l'EFB is run by volunteer parents and staff, where we share our love for our children's education, and bring the francophone community together in Bristol!
What we do
Les Amis de l’EFB, our Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), plays a vital role in supporting the school and enriching the children’s educational experience. As a registered charity (no.1210284), we help fund essential projects, organise community events, and improve the school facilities.
We do so by running fun events for children and grown-up alike throughout the year, by selling EFB merchandise, and by collecting donations from our francophile community!

Our projects
In 2025-2026, we are focusing our fundraising efforts for 2 major project at the school:
- Upgrading the school kitchen
- Improving our outdoor offering, with the installation of a large covered area in the playground to ensure children can enjoy the outdoors in all weathers
A new school kitchen!
Our kitchen in Maternelle is in need of repair and upgrade, with new cabinets, a small dishwasher to save precious time for staff, an oven to encourage more cooking and baking - we are a French community after all! - and a fresh lick of paint.
